The Spiritual in Jung’s Psychology, DVD lecture and discussion

Anyone who knows anything about Jung and his psychology is aware that it is steeped in  spirituality. Matters of Soul are paramont. Analytical Psychology is obviously not a religion, so what exactly is this spiritual aspect that so distinctly identifies it and distinguishes it from all other psychologies….and religions?

First we will watch a five or ten minute You Tube video that will serve as an introduction to thirty minutes of a highly edited long DVD lecture by Murray Stein from the Ashville Jung Center called, “Psychology and Religion, Jung’s Argument”. Then with these for subject matter we will have forty-five minutes of group discussion about what we have seen. I expect we will learn a lot from each other as we share our thoughts about what is, after all, a personal matter, one’s indvidual experience of the spiritual, which is exactly how Jung saw it. If you’re not aware of it, you are invited to come discover where your spirituality might be found.
