The Women’s Study Group studies the psychology of Carl Gustav Jung and reads Jungian books from a feminine perspective. The selected book is read aloud during each sessions, encouraging individual contributions, interpretations and reflections. All participants have an equal voice.
C.G. Jung: Word and Image is a unique book. It is the story of Jung’s life and work told with many quotations from Jung himself, taken from his autobiography, letters and other writings. The story is further enhanced with images, which are an integral part of Jungian psychology, including personal photographs, reproductions of Jung’s paintings, and images related to his personal interest areas. This is a book in which the images will be studied as much as the words.
Participants are responsible for obtaining their own books.
