The Women’s Study group chooses Jungian-related books from a feminine perspective and shares the reading of them together. The most unique thing about the group is that we read the selected book aloud. We then encourage individual contributions, interpretation and reflection and explore ideas as we go. We read, share and learn.
APSWNY WOMEN’S STUDY GROUP MEETS AT: Trinity Episcopal Church, in the “Barbara Moot Memorial Library of Jungian Studies” at 371 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, NY
The Women’s Study Group was created by Barbara Moot 30 year ago. We meet the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Each Jungian-related book will be selected and announced prior to the new session. The group is more of a drop-in format, so you can join us at any point, but it does help to catch up where we are in the book. You can always contact the group leader to find out where we left off.Email The Group Leader
Where can you purchase the book the group is reading?
In addition to our continuing book service, The C.G. Jung Center is pleased to announce a working relationship with Talking Leaves Bookstore that will greatly expand the availability of Jungian literature in Buffalo.
Since our inception, access to the books we sell has been limited to times when our center is open to the public. As part of our arrangement with Talking Leaves they will be expanding the number of selections by Jung and related authors that they keep on their shelves.
We hope you will take advantage of this greatly increased opportunity to purchase these informative books so full of meaning for Psyche in the world.
The library will be open on a weekly basis on Thursdays from 1-3 p.m.
Only Jung Center members have borrowing privileges with the exception of approved students with ID.
